THE long-awaited Goode report on pensions, initiated after the Maxwell pension fund scandal, landed with a heavy thud and a sigh of dissatisfaction in the pension industry. WHILE the pension funds scrutinise the Goode Report, they are also looking forward with growing apprehension to November's Budget, writes Richard Thomson. Both were in that state which one might in the past have called 'between partners'.
